GO has just appointed Duncan Howard as Chief Commercial Officer for the Company with effect from 1 August  2010.  Howard will succeed Norbert Prihoda who was seconded to GO as Chief Commercial Officer from EIT in 2007 and whose role later expanded to that of Chief Operations Officer.

Howard has more than 16 years of mobile telecoms experience gained while working for 11 networks in Europe, North America, India and in the Middle East. Most recently, he has held the position of Chief Business Officer (Business Sales and Marketing Director) for Vodafone Egypt.

GO’s outgoing Chief Operations Officer, Prihoda, will return to EIT’s head office in Dubai assuming a senior group role there. He will be responsible for setting up and managing a new central portfolio management function for all of EIT’s telecommunications investments across different countries.
